1. When can I begin the Bid Packaging Process?

At the CD stage or earlier as needed, contact the Bid Packaging team to schedule a Kickoff meeting. We will send you an initial Instructional Email containing detailed comments regarding the submission requirements of your project and meet to determine specific project requirements.

2. How long does the Bid Packaging Process take?

While there is no guarantee that your project will pass through Bid Packaging in a specified amount of time, the approximate length of time is 60 days. This estimate varies based on a number of factors, including the accuracy of the initial submission, the complexity and scope of the project, and the consultants' responsiveness.

3. How can I expedite the Bid Packaging Process?

Good question! Follow the instructions on our Checklist and PM Task Listcarefully, and we guarantee that there will be fewer roadblocks to getting your project approved by BP.

4. Does Bid Packaging need copies of the drawings?

No, the Bid Packaging team does not review drawings. Please do not include drawings in the Specs, or anywhere in the Bid Package.

5. Will Bid Packaging review my documents before 100% CD?

In some cases, Bid Packaging will review documents prior to 100% CD. In order for this to happen, the Project Manager, Consultant and Subconsultants must first commit to completing a series of workshops.
